Wallows’ show in Buffalo, NY was unreal. They were easily one of the most fun shows I’ve been to recently. My friends and I had an absolute blast from start to finish, with the energy in the venue propelling us nonstop – people were screaming, swaying, jumping barricades, and shouting every lyric like their lives depended on it.
The stage lights were mostly blue and red, with a bit of pink in the mix, creating a perfect, moody vibe. During “Deep End,” fans held up pink heart cut-outs as part of a fan project, and each one said, "Hold this over your phone during Deep End." It made the floor light up in the softest, most beautiful way. Vocalist and guitarist Dylan Minnette noticed, paused for a second, and said, “This is beautiful, guys. Thank you.” It was one of those small moments that made the night feel even more special.

There were tons of chances for the crowd to sing along – there were whole verses left to us and the audience showed up loud. At one point, someone threw a Bills jersey on stage and Minnette picked it up and held it. The crowd went wild. All night, he kept checking in with us, smiling and reacting; every bit of it felt intentional.
Wallows said they love Buffalo and need to come back and even joked about moving here. We’re holding them to that. They connected with their fans in a way that’s rare. Every part of the show felt alive and in the moment.
This was easily one of the most anticipated concerts in Buffalo this year, and it more than delivered. We’re already counting down the days until they return!
Wallows will support My Chemical Romance in LA in July, in addition to playing festivals throughout the summer. Check out all of their upcoming shows here, and see more photos from their stop in Buffalo below!
