Oasis Are Definitely Maybe Back Together

I hope, I think, I know that we’re all freaking out right now. Or at least I am. While admittedly not the biggest Oasis fan out there (middle-aged British men I’ll let you have your moment), I can’t deny that it’s thrilling to finally see the Gallagher brothers reunite and announce live dates.
The infamous breakup occurred fifteen years ago, and while both brothers have played Oasis songs at their solo gigs since – I got to see Liam Gallagher play “Wonderwall” and “Champagne Supernova” last year at Rock Werchter – it comes nowhere close to hearing the songs played by both brothers together.
Lucky fans will have the chance to do so next year. After days of teasing, Oasis announced 14 dates in Ireland and the UK. More information can be found here, and check out the dates below:
4, 5 July – Cardiff, Principality Stadium
11, 12, 19, 20 July – Manchester, Heaton Park
25, 26 July + 2, 3 August – London, Wembley Stadium
8, 9 August – Edinburgh, Murrayfield Stadium
16, 17 August – Dublin, Croke Park
According to the official tour announcement, there are plans for Oasis to perform in “other continents outside of Europe later next year.” However, the Irish and UK dates are all that the band has announced so far. The tour is named Oasis Live ‘25. Fingers crossed for more dates all around the world soon.
Presale tickets – that were accessible via a ballot that closed Wednesday night – go on sale Friday, August 30. General sales for the UK dates start at 09:00 BST on Saturday, August 31. Irish general tickets go on sale an hour later, at 10:00 BST, Saturday, August 31.
Hey now! Good luck to everyone attempting to buy tickets.
