A Chat With Just: Band Origins, New Single, and Opening for Inhaler

Before opening for Inhaler in Allentown, Just sat down with Zany Waves for the first installment of our new video interview series, “A Chat With….” We talked about what it meant for them to open for a band they admire, how they first came together, and the story behind their latest single, “Fitted Sheets.”
Made up of Dylan Sarkozy on guitar and vocals, Jordan Shames on bass, Aadam Ameerally on lead guitar, and Tyler Lahman on drums, the band draws inspiration from a range of alt acts. When asked what they’ve been listening to lately, they mentioned Fontaines D.C., Wunderhorse, and Been Stellar – influences that come through in their own sound. Just’s indie-rock style combines driving guitars with catchy lyrics and feel-good vibes that compel you to dance along when seeing them live.
Talking with them, it was clear how much care and excitement they bring to what they do, and that same energy carried over to their set later that night.
