Returning to the iconic Asbury Park waterfront this September, Sea.Hear.Now is once again ready to bring together live music, professional surfing, art installations, and the unmistakable energy of Asbury Park for a weekend of fun in the sun.

Since its debut in 2018, Sea.Hear.Now has established itself as more than just a music festival. With stages situated directly on the beach and throughout the park, attendees can move between performances, surf competitions, local art exhibits, and food vendors while taking in views of the Atlantic Ocean. This year’s edition will feature more than 25 artists performing across three stages, including two stages on the sand and one in the park. The festival will also host its signature surf contest, bringing together East Coast surf legends and rising professionals throughout the weekend.

Leading the 2026 lineup are The Strokes and Mumford & Sons. They lead a lineup that blends indie rock, alternative favorites, legendary artists, and emerging talent.

Saturday’s bill is led by Mumford & Sons and also features The Offspring, Chaka Khan, The War on Drugs, The All-American Rejects, Shaggy, Men at Work, Fitz and The Tantrums, Tom Odell, Susanna Hoffs, Steph Strings, Nat Myers, and more. the festival's broad musical appeal. Sunday includes Goo Goo Dolls, Fontaines D.C., Moby, Pixies, Ziggy Marley, Kim Gordon, Ben Howard, flipturn, Alice Phoebe Lou, King Stingray, with The Strokes closing out the festival.

Beyond the music, Sea.Hear.Now’s identity is closely connected to celebrating Asbury Park. Professional surfers will compete throughout the weekend between the festival’s beachside stages, while art installations and impromptu sets fill the Transparent Gallery, presented by Cisco. Combined with food options from local restaurants and vendors, the event creates a well-rounded local experience – perfect for anyone wanting to close out the summer on a high note.

As music festivals continue to grow larger and more crowded, Sea.Hear.Now remains unique because of its sense of place. Whether you’re there for The Strokes, the surf, or simply soaking in a weekend on the Asbury Park shoreline, Sea.Hear.Now 2026 promises another unforgettable celebration of music, art, and coastal culture.
