Fans were wrapped around The Varsity Theater waiting to get inside for Holly

Humberstone’s stop in Minneapolis. Minnesotans are built differently as fans are

always arriving early and willing to stand in the rain to get the perfect spot. Despite

the weather, the excitement was high as concertgoers eagerly waited for the show to

begin.

Humberstone opened the show with the same honesty and vulnerability that has

made so many people connect with her music. The stage setup was simple, but it

worked perfectly for the performance. Instead of relying on a huge production, the

focus stayed on the music. Combined with the lighting and visuals, the show felt

both dreamy and personal, making the theater feel much smaller than it was.

Throughout the night, Humberstone balanced emotional moments with upbeat

songs, creating a set that kept fans engaged from start to finish. Between songs, she

took time to connect with the crowd, adding to the intimate feel of the evening.

One of the biggest hits of the night came during “The Walls Are Way Too Thin” as

fans shouted every word back to the stage. Tracks from her newest album, Cruel

World, were also met with plenty of excitement. The title track showcased the

emotion behind the new record, while “Paint My Bedroom Black“ brought a surge of

energy to the room and had fans singing at the top of their lungs.

Later in the set, Humberstone performed “Deep End,“ giving the audience one of the

night’s quieter but most memorable moments. With the focus entirely on her vocals

and lyrics, the song felt especially personal in the live setting.

By the end of the night, it was easy to see why Holly Humberstone has built such a

loyal following. Her performance felt genuine from start to finish, and the intimate

setup allowed every song to shine. With a packed room and fans singing along all

night, Holly Humberstone’s Minneapolis stop was one to remember and a reminder

of just how special live music can be.
