This is the 12th year for Shaky Knees Music Festival, with 53 artists in the lineup. The festival (September 19 – 21) is slated to be an epic mix of 90s nostalgia, with Deftones, My Chemical Romance, and Blink-182 headlining. If you’re like us and experiencing My Chemical Romance live has been on your bucket list since you were a baby emo, Shaky Knees is the place to be this September. And let’s not forget The All-American Rejects comeback!
For pop/indie fans, come see Sarah Kinsley, Wet Leg, Lucy Dacus, Stereophonics, and more. Other artists sure to shred the stage include 4 Non-Blondes, Sublime, Vampire Weekend, and Alabama Shakes. The weekend will conclude – honestly, as every weekend should – with a show from Weird Al Yankovic.
Many of us living in or around Atlanta know and love the location, Piedmont Park. The park has lots of visual interest and greenery, thanks to the stewardship of the Piedmont Park Conservancy non-profit.
